Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing themselves for their huge Champions League semi-final clash.
The Gunners are on cloud nine after smashing Real Madrid 5-1 in the quarter-finals. PSG had to work a bit harder to overcome Aston Villa, but they got the job done.
The first leg is scheduled to be played at the Emirates, and Arsenal will have no fear going into the game against Luis Enrique’s side. PSG will back themselves to get a result too, which makes this a fascinating game.
But, ahead of the clash, Arsenal have done something that has annoyed the French giants.
PSG complain to UEFA about Arsenal
All the focus at Arsenal and PSG before the game should be on the pitch, but another issue has just come up, and the Ligue 1 champions are not happy.
For every Champions League game, UEFA rules state that the home side should allocate five per cent of their stadium capacity to the away fans.
When Arsenal faced PSG in the league phase of the competition in October, the Gunners adhered to the rules and made 3000 seats available in the away end.
However, if L’Equipe are to be believed, Arsenal are not prepared to do that again.
The report claims that the Gunners have informed PSG that they will only be giving 2500 tickets to the away fans, which falls closer to four per cent of the Emirates Stadium capacity.
Arsenal have ‘justified themselves by putting forward security reasons requested by the local authorities’ because the London Marathon is set to be held a couple of days before.
Enrique’s side think this is very unfair and have now contacted UEFA and asked them to intervene. They want 3000 tickets for their fans.
The report adds that the French club ‘could also explore other avenues of appeal between now and Tuesday if necessary’.

Mikel Arteta has made a request to Arsenal fans who are going to the PSG game
It’s still unclear what will happen in the away end, but what is guaranteed is that most of the Emirates Stadium will be filled with Arsenal fans.
Gooners created an extraordinary atmosphere when Real Madrid came to town in the quarter-finals, and that helped Mikel Arteta’s men win 3-0.
The Arsenal manager is hoping for a repeat of that and has urged matchgoing supporters to play every ball with the team against PSG on Tuesday night.
He told Arsenal.com: “The message is that they have to play every ball with us.
“So, I would say bring your boots, your shin pads, your shorts, your T-shirts! And let’s play on Tuesday night all together here to have one of the most amazing nights at the Emirates.”
