PSV Eindhoven await Arsenal in the Champions League this Tuesday evening. So, here is everything you need to know, including how to watch their final Group B match live.

The Gunners will look to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa last Saturday when Mikel Arteta’s squad visits the Philips Stadion. John McGinn put a dent in Arsenal’s hopes for the Premier League title. But the north Londoners have already sealed first place in Group B.

Arsenal beating RC Lens 6-0 at Emirates Stadium last month meant Arteta’s team advanced into the last 16 of the Champions League as the Group B winners. PSV have also sealed their place in the knockout stages as the runners-up to leave Tuesday’s fixture as a dead-rubber.

PSV cannot catch Arsenal for the top spot in Group B entering the last round of fixtures. The Gunners hold a four-point advantage over Boeren, who sit just three points clear of Lens for second. But the Eredivisie giants own second place via their head-to-head record over Lens.

So, Tuesday’s clash at the Philips Stadion will offer Arteta a chance to rotate his line-up. The Gunners face a tough run of Premier League fixtures during the festive period with Brighton, Liverpool and West Ham. So, here is everything you need to know about their match at PSV.

The latest Arsenal injury updates will offer Arteta mixed news ahead of their trip to PSV this Tuesday. Emile Smith Rowe has now returned to full training at London Colney following the midfielder’s knee injury. But neither Bukayo Saka nor Gabriel Martinelli trained this Monday.

Arsenal rested Saka after the winger took a knock to his foot at Aston Villa on Saturday. But Martinelli was absent after reporting an illness in the morning. Saka is still likely to make the Gunners’ squad at PSV but Arteta will remain cautious about the Arsenal’s product playing.

The only other absences for Arsenal at PSV will be for Arteta’s long-term absentees Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf), Thomas Partey (thigh), Fabio Vieira (groin) and Jurrien Timber (ACL) as they continue to recover from their own injury problems with the intentions of returning in 2024.

Arteta will use the Gunners’ trip to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday evening as his opportunity to give a selection of Arsenal’s academy talents their Champions League breakthroughs. But by trusting their rising stars, the Spaniard could jeopardise his side’s chances of sealing the win.

PSV may also look to use their dead-rubber as a chance to rotate ahead of visiting Eredivisie rivals AZ Alkmaar this Sunday, however. Boeren have created a 10-point lead atop the Dutch top-flight table after a flawless season so far. They have won each of their 15 games thus far.

Yet PSV will likely have their eyes on revenge after losing 4-0 at Arsenal in September. Arteta including multiple youngsters in his line-up could also easily fuel Boeren’s belief of avenging their loss in north London. Saka was amongst the Gunners stars who tore PSV apart, as well.
