Sanchez rumbles on

Every day, another report and a change of stance. The Express is now reporting that the club will look to sell Alexis Sanchez in the summer with Paris Saint-Germain or Atletico Madrid possible suitors. According to the paper Arsenal decided to sell the Chilean when he was pictured laughing on the bench during the humiliating Champions League defeat against Bayern Munich. But fear not, there will be another report, I am sure tomorrow, that supersedes this one.

Ospina Turkey-bound

David Ospina looks set for a possible move to Fenerbahce after admitting if Arsenal agree to the move he would be happy to sign for the Turkish team. Ospina has been frustrated by his lack of first-team appearances, although he does play in cup matches. However, for the Colombian, this is not enough. Ospina was quoted as saying “Istanbul may be a new adventure and motivation for me”. One thing is sure, Ospina certainly looks like leaving in the summer.

Ramsey set to leave

This is according to ex-Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas. Nicholas feels that should German midfielder Mesut Ozil sign a new contract, then Aaron Ramsey will find himself surplus to requirements. With Santi Cazorla back next season and Arsenal with an abundant of midfield players, it could mean the Welsh man has no choice but to move for first team football.

Arsenal raid

The Mirror reports Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is looking to raid Arsenal and sign contract rebel Mesut Ozil. Mourinho would link up again with the German international after the pair were at Real Madrid previously. Ozil had a good relationship with the Portuguese manager, although Arsenal fans would be up in arms if the club sold another player to their rivals.

Director of Football

It seems Arsenal are continuing to search for a Director of Football after Monchi, who was sounded out for the move, was reluctant to leave his native Spain. This seems the most obvious reason the club have so far been unable to announce Arsene Wenger’s new contract, as they want to announce both together.
Arsenal may also be looking at a new goalkeeper coach with Chelsea Christophe Lollichon a possibility. Lollichon comes highly recommend by current number one Petr Cech.

First £100 million player

Arsenal transfer target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could become the first £100 million player if a summer move becomes apparent. You would imagine that this would knock Arsenal out of the running for the hugely talented striker. Aubameyang is currently playing for Borussia Dortmund.

Forest youngster in

The Sun is reporting Arsenal are interested in Nottingham Forest attacker Ben Brereton for a possible fee of £10m. The 17-year-old has been in fine form this season and notched another assist at the weekend against Huddersfield. Brereton has scored three goals this season and has provided some excellent assists for the Championship side.
