Arsenal’s squad is in excellent shape.
The defence is arguably the best in Europe, while the midfield looks set for years with the likes of Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
The attack, however, remains the area with the most room for improvement.
Viktor Gyokeres enjoyed a decent first season in north London, and Kai Havertz continues to make important contributions whenever he is asked to lead the line.
Even so, there is still a feeling that Arsenal could add another elite attacker or two. That is certainly how Parlour sees it.
The Arsenal legend believes the Gunners need another striker and would also benefit from adding a world-class option on the left wing.
When discussing potential signings, Parlour singled out two of the most exciting attackers in European football.
He told The Sun: “You can’t stand still in the Premier League. Every club will be trying to bring in someone who is going to make a big difference in their team. Arsenal have got to try and do the same.
“They definitely need another striker. There’s no doubt about that.
“I would like to get Kvaratskhelia from PSG on the left if they can. But I don’t think you’ll get him. That’s the sort of player who would certainly be better for you on the left-hand side.
“Obviously, Julian Alvarez would be perfect if they could get him out of Atletico Madrid.”

Julian Alvarez and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would take Arsenal to another level
Parlour is not exactly aiming low here.
Alvarez and Kvaratskhelia are among the best attackers in world football and would walk into almost any team on the planet.
That said, Arsenal are no longer a club that should be thinking small.
They are Premier League champions, they pushed PSG all the way in the Champions League final, and they have shown they belong among Europe’s elite.
If Berta can somehow convince either Alvarez or Kvaratskhelia to join, it would be one of the biggest statements of the entire transfer window.
Landing both would be the sort of summer that could put Arsenal in a position to dominate English football for years.
