However, the legendary Italian is fully aware of how good Arsenal are, having watched Mikel Arteta develop this team over the last five years.
Ancelotti has now delivered his verdict on how Arsenal compare to many other teams he has seen across Europe.

Apart from the FA Cup in his debut season and a couple of Community Shields, Arsenal haven’t won anything under Arteta.
The Spaniard often comes under criticism from some pundits for that reason, even though the side he has built is on another planet compared to the one he inherited.
The Arsenal manager needs to win a major trophy to shut some people up, but those in the game are more than aware of just how good a job he has done.
Ancelotti has been in the game for decades, and he has managed and faced some incredible teams over the years.
However, he feels that most sides in the world do a few good things but are never complete. Arsenal under Arteta, however, are an exception thanks to the ‘fantastic’ job he has done.
Ancelotti said in his press conference, as relayed by Mundo Deportivo: “We’re here talking about Arteta, who is doing a fantastic job. He arrived here when I was at Everton in 2020, and in five years, he’s taken this team to the top of Europe.
“He’s doing a fantastic job, and he’s built a complete team. There are not many teams who are complete in Europe. There are lots of teams that do certain things very well, but there are not many teams that do everything as well as Arsenal do.
“He’s doing a fantastic job. They are stronger with him than in the past.”

Arsenal are one of the best teams in the world.
Yes, they haven’t won the Premier League or the Champions League yet, but they definitely have what it takes to beat any team they come up against.
Despite that, many of the pundits in England rarely ever give credit to Arteta. The likes of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher often have something negative to say about him.
Ancelotti’s comments above prove that those pundits don’t know what they are talking about, and Arsenal fans should not jump on that bandwagon and turn on Arteta.
