Sunderland have caused both Arsenal and Manchester City to drop points this season.
Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola’s sides are the two teams in the title race right now, and both of them had their troubles at the Stadium of Light.
Arsenal drew 2-2 just before the November international break, while City were held to a goalless draw on New Year’s Day.
Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris deserves enormous praise for his work this season, and he has now had his say on the Premier League title race.
If you could change one thing at Arsenal right now to guarantee the Premier League title, what would it be and why?
Regis Le Bris suggests Arsenal are better in attack than Manchester City
Arsenal and Manchester City have been the two best teams in the Premier League this season.
The Gunners are four points clear at the top of the table, having lost just two of their first 19 games in the top-flight so far this season.
City are second and have been pushing Arsenal in recent weeks. But they dropped points against Sunderland, and Arteta’s side have a cushion now.

That could give them an edge in the title race this season, and Le Bris, who has faced both teams this season, has hinted that Arsenal are a bigger goal threat than the Sky Blues.
He said, as relayed on Hayters: “They are really good. It will be a question of consistency; it’s always the case. They are a bit different, but I think they are competitive for the title.”
When asked how they are different, Le Bris said: “In a few words, I would say Arsenal are a bit more clinical and a bit more direct with their ability to score goals, even if it’s not pass, pass, pass.
“Here, we can feel the identity of Pep Guardiola. Even if Mikel Arteta is Spanish as well, I think Guardiola is impressive in the way he can build up the play.”
If Arsenal could only win one trophy out of the Premier League and the Champions League this season, which one would you pick and why?

Arsenal are more complete than Manchester City but Pep Guardiola has one big advantage
Everyone says the title race is between Arsenal’s defence and Manchester City’s attack, but it’s not as simple as that.
Le Bris is right, the Gunners are a more direct threat in attack than City, and Arteta’s defence is far superior too. That makes them a more complete side.
However, Guardiola’s advantage comes from the fact that he has Erling Haaland leading his line.
The Norwegian has won numerous games for Manchester City on his own, and every time he is on the pitch, they have a chance.
That is the reason why the Sky Blues cannot be taken lightly, even though they are four points behind Arsenal right now.
