Arsenal’s biggest game of the season is against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The Gunners picked up a memorable 5-1 win over two legs against Real Madrid and knocked them out of the competition in the quarter-finals.

Mikel Arteta’s men are on cloud nine, but they have a tough test against PSG awaiting them in the penultimate round of Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves think they know which teams will make it into the final of the Champions League.

Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves predict who will win between Arsenal and PSG

Real Madrid were no match for Arsenal in the quarter-finals.

The Gunners were completely the better side over two legs, and as Jude Bellingham said, Real Madrid were lucky that they didn’t lose by a bigger margin.

PSG will be a completely different proposition in the semi-finals, but Arsenal have already beaten Luis Enrique’s side in the Champions League this season.

Arteta made the Parisiens look average and won the game 2-0, but Ferdinand and Hargreaves don’t think there will be a repeat of that in the semi-finals.

The two pundits, while speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast, have both picked PSG to qualify for the final of the Champions League this season ahead of Arsenal.

Ferdinand said: “I’m going PSG-Inter in the final.”

Hargreaves replied: “I’m going PSG-Barca.”

Both Ferdinand and Hargreaves are confident that PSG will get the better of Arsenal over two legs in the semi-finals.

That is a real surprise as the Gunners were so much more convincing over Real Madrid than the French giants were in their tie against Aston Villa.

But, the two pundits think there is a way for Arsenal to make it into the final – by not playing their usual style of football.

Hargreaves said: “But I do think you can win. Remember the number: 40 per cent possession – if you have that, you win.”

Ferdinand replied: “I think you win through suffering. You’ve got to suffer.”

Hargreaves added: “Counter-attack. You’ve got the best defence, that’s how you win.”
