Mikel Arteta’s side have proven a lot of critics wrong, as many began to tip Manchester City to win the league in recent weeks.

Former captain Granit Xhaka has already congratulated Arsenal on winning the title, as has Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Now, there is more reaction coming out, as Rio Ferdinand has given his verdict.

Rio Ferdinand congratulates Arsenal on Premier League title win
Ferdinand has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to congratulate Arsenal supporters on their long-awaited title win.
“Shout out Arsenal fans… years of mockery… nearly men! Tonight, sealed it,” the 47-year-old stated.
“@Evra where’s your apology.”
Which signing played the biggest part in Arsenal winning the league?
Alan Shearer has also issued a statement on X: “Congrats @Arsenal, the best team won it this season.”
David Seaman said: “Premier League Champions!!! What a moment!!! What a season!!!!!!!! EPIC!!!!!!!!!!”
Piers Morgan added: “This is Arteta’s moment. Yes, the squad’s been amazing. Yes, the fans have been incredible. Yes, the club’s owners stepped up big time last summer.

Celebrations will continue over the next couple of days, but focus will quickly have to turn to the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain later this month.
Winning the double would make it perhaps the best season in Arsenal’s history.
