Arsenal are still the favourites to win the Premier League title despite their heartbreak in the Carabao Cup final.
The Gunners suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at Wembley, and there are fears over whether that result could have an impact on the title race.
Pep Guardiola will certainly hope so, but Rio Ferdinand has refused to change the prediction he made about Arsenal ‘weeks’ ago.
The Manchester United legend is still backing the Gunners to become champions.

Rio Ferdinand says Arsenal will win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City
Arsenal have fallen short in the Premier League title race in each of the last three seasons.
The Gunners finished second in all of those campaigns, and that has increased the pressure to go all the way this time.
Mikel Arteta’s men are nine points clear of Manchester City at the moment, albeit the Sky Blues have a game in hand.
There’s the small matter of the game between the two title rivals at the Etihad Stadium as well, which could have an impact on the title race.
However, Ferdinand is beyond confident that the top of the table will stay exactly the same.
The legendary defender posted a clip of his interview with Gabriel Jesus on X, where the Brazilian was asked about the ongoing title race and whether the Gunners can go all the way.
Replying to that tweet, Ferdinand wrote: “I’ve said it for weeks! Arsenal will win the league.”

Gabriel Jesus is ‘very confident’ that Arsenal will win the Premier League
One of the big differences from Arsenal’s players this season compared to previous years has been their willingness to talk about winning the big trophies.
Many of them have come out and have been open about their title ambitions, and Gabriel Jesus is no different.
On Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, the Manchester United icon asked Jesus how confident he is about winning the Premier League in May.
The Arsenal number nine replied: “Very confident. Very confident because we are in a good place, and then we have an amazing squad. Not only those who play a lot of games and score, but also like me.
Will Arsenal go unbeaten until the end of the season after the Carabao Cup final defeat?
“Obviously, in the last few games, I haven’t been playing a lot, but still, I know myself. I know Mikel knows that I can decide a game, or I can play one game and then I still can decide a game.
“It’s the same with me, same with Leo (Trossard), same with Bukayo Saka, same with Noni (Madueke), it’s the same with (Gabriel) Martinelli, same with Kai (Havertz) and Viktor (Gyokeres). I’m saying about the attacking players.
“If you see our attacking players, it is amazing. So it’s good. So I believe 100 per cent that this season, we are doing something.”
