Arsenal have made significant investments to their first-team squad during this summer’s transfer window.
Andrea Berta arrived at the club facing the biggest transfer window of Mikel Arteta’s reign and has delivered eight new signings for the Spaniard.
It kicked off with the clever acquisition of back-up goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and ended with the astute signing of Piero Hincapie to replace Jakub Kiwior.
In amongst those signings was the emotional return to the club for Eberechi Eze and the centre forward the Gunners have been craving in Viktor Gyokeres. Pundit Roy Keane has given his honest verdict on the Swede after his opening three matches.

Roy Keane thinks Viktor Gyokeres will be a good signing for Arsenal
Alan Pardew thinks Arsenal fans should be concerned with Gyokeres after his first three performances for the club, however Keane has disagreed with the former Premier League boss.
Speaking alongside Jamie Carragher, Keane was asked his opinion on a number of high-profile signings across the league this summer and has given his thumbs up to Gyokeres.
Keane stated: “It’s been a hit so far, two goals, yeah a hit so far.”
The Swede cut an isolated figure in Arsenal’s recent 1-0 defeat to Liverpool and did not manage to get much change out of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahim Konate.
However, Arsenal supporters were furious with Gabriel Martinelli for not playing Gyokeres in behind the Liverpool defence early on in the match when he had the run on the centre backs.
Football is a game of fine margins and had the ball been played through for Gyokeres to score, the game and narrative could have been ever so different.
Mikel Arteta must change his approach to get the best out of Viktor Gyokeres
Arteta has received criticism for his approach at Anfield and rightly so after selecting such a conservative team to face a vulnerable Liverpool side.
Gyokeres struggled to get involved against Liverpool but was offered little to no service in the match until the introduction of Martin Odegaard and Eze in the 70th minute.
The Gunners boss has to realise that he has one of Europe’s deadliest finishers on his hands and is a different player to Kai Havertz.
Havertz would have pressed and created chances for players around him in the clash with Liverpool, however Gyokeres is the man to put those chances away.
He needs creativity and bodies around him, until Arteta realises that there may well be a few more lean afternoons for the 27-year-old.
