CIES Football Observatory have released the list of the 100 most valuable footballers on the planet, and seven Arsenal players including Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli make the cut.
Mikel Arteta is building a phenomenal team at the Emirates. Our young Gunners came ever so close to winning the Premier League in the recently-concluded season, and the future looks really bright.
Arsenal fans shouldn’t care about the transfer valuations of our players because we don’t want to sell many of these stars anytime soon. It is, however, still really interesting.

Why Pele Is Overrated.
Arsenal’s seven most valuable players right now
CIES Football Observatory have used their own statistical model to determine the transfer values of the 100 most valuable players in world football right now.
Erling Haaland, unsurprisingly, sits on top of the list with a value of £210.8 million, while Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr is the second most valuable player in the world at £168.8 million.

Here’s where Arsenal seven most valuable players rank:
Bukayo Saka
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is the third most valuable footballer in the whole world.
The 21-year-old, who didn’t cost us a penny in transfer fees having come through the ranks at Hale End, is valued at a staggering £168.4 million. That’s more than Kylian Mbappe, who is said to be worth £140.4 million.

Gabriel Martinelli
Gabriel Martinelli is the 12th most valuable football player in the world right now.
The Brazilian, also 21, joined Arsenal for just £6 million (Goal) back in 2019. Just four years later, his transfer value stands at a whopping £131.5 million.
Martin Odegaard
Captain Martin Odegaard is the third most expensive Arsenal player and ranks 24th on CIES’ list.
The Norwegian joined us from Real Madrid for £30 million (Sky Sports) two years ago, and his value has now more than doubled. He is said to be worth £75.7 million right now.
Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus only joined Arsenal last summer, but his value has still gone up.
The Gunners signed him for £45 million (Sky Sports) from Manchester City, which is a pretty big fee, and he is now apparently worth £70.6 million.

Aaron Ramsdale
This is a slight surprise – Aaron Ramsdale is the fifth most valuable Arsenal player right now. He also ranks 37th in the whole world, making him the most valuable goalkeeper on the planet.
Ramsdale is valued at £67.6 million, a big jump compared to the £24 million (Athletic) we paid to sign him.
William Saliba
William Saliba comes next on the list. The Frenchman is said to be the 53rd most valuable player in the world and the ninth highest-valued centre-back on the planet.
He is valued at £61 million, which is more than double what we paid for him in 2019.
Gabriel Magalhaes
Right after Saliba comes his central defensive partner at Arsenal, Gabriel Magalhaes.
The Brazilian takes the 54th spot in the world with a transfer value of £60.4 million, which is again more than twice as much as what he cost us three years ago.
