Sanchez to Bayern
According to reports, Bayern Munich have now become favourites to sign the Arsenal forward. With one year remaining on his contract in the summer, he could be sold for as little as £35m. You would imagine there would be more than one team interested in the Chilean international and should he leave, the club may be able to gain more money for the want-away forward.
Henry to replace Wenger
It seems way, way, way too early to be talking of ex-Arsenal legend Thierry Henry taking over the reigns as Arsenal manager. Henry himself has heard the rumours of him taking over from current Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in the summer if he does not sign a new deal. Henry himself has said he is still learning, but also did little to calm the rumours, should the position become available. Henry did add he has total respect for manager Wenger so he is unable to talk about the rumours and disrespecting the Frenchman.
Monaco star rejects move
Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayako has apparently rejected a move to Arsenal in the summer after having talks with manager Arsene Wenger back in November. The 22-year-old who has been a standout performer this season in Ligue 1, now looks set to join Chelsea with a possible £35m deal already been agreed.
Bellerin stays?
It seems Barcelona have cooled their interest in full-back Hector Bellerin after their technical director admitted that there are other players who can do well in the role. I expect this to continue to roll on over the summer.
Another goalkeeper rumour
Another day, another goalkeeper rumour arrives, this time that Arsenal are ready to make a bid for Portuguese keeper Rui Patricio. The Sporting Lisbon keeper has established himself as Portugal’s number one and has played 31 matches for Sporting this season. The 29-year-old has a contract until 2022 and would cost the club around £13m.
Belotti stays
After various reports of Torino striker Andrea Belotti interesting Arsenal, the player himself has come out and insisted he is going nowhere and will be staying at Torino.
Willock stars
Arsenal wonder kid Chris Willock has impressed again, this time for England Under19s, as he scored against Spain at the weekend and two against Belarus on Monday. The 18-year-old is being touted as a potential future star for the club and has trained with the first team on a couple of occasions.
