Having marked his debut with an impressive performance, Max Dowman is already being tipped for big things at Arsenal.
The 15-year-old has risen quickly through the ranks of the Hale End academy to become one of the brightest young talents available.
It follows a recent trend under Mikel Arteta, where the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly have been given a chance to show their quality in the senior team.
Max Dowman can be the next to cement his place at Arsenal, but his actual best position for the future is currently unclear.

Simon Jordan claims Max Dowman should be a number ten at Arsenal and not a winger
Early glimpses of Dowman on his Arsenal debut certainly suggest he is one for the future, but where he features in the team is unclear.
So far, Arteta has opted to play him on the right wing, getting him in the side wherever possible in his first year in the senior setup.
It remains to be seen if he will stay there, but for Simon Jordan, it shouldn’t be his position in the long term.
He said on TalkSPORT: “Dowman is great, I mean, I’ve been raving about him for two years, so it’s not a secret to me.
“He isn’t strong enough at this moment in time, you saw that a couple of times. He gets on the ball, and he attacks, and he’s very forthright.
“I’m not sure he’s a winger. I think he’s probably number ten. We’ll see about that as he develops.”
The road to getting into that number ten position may be a long one, with some of the quality available in that position.
However, Dowman may be able to follow the footsteps of another academy star with his route into the team.

Max Dowman can follow Ethan Nwaneri’s route into the Arsenal team
While Dowman’s long-term position may be as the number ten for Arsenal, Ethan Nwaneri is also predicted to feature there.
The youngster is viewed as more of a midfielder, but he managed to make his mark on the right flank last season.
His performances on the right gave him a route into the team, showing the quality he has without being in the thick of it in the middle of the pitch.
This season, there is a greater expectation on Nwaneri playing in the central position after a breakthrough season.
Dowman may follow a similar route, finding his way into the team on the outskirts before firmly pushing his way into the side.
It’s all about development and protecting the player while developing them along the way.
