Some Arsenal fans’ anger towards Stan Kroenke and KSE has increased considerably after a latest report has revealed that our club’s value as an enterprise has dropped significantly.
The financial impact of the global pandemic has hurt all the clubs in the world and Arsenal are no different. We’ve suffered both on and off the pitch, and missing out on European football further hurts our finances.
KPMG have released their annual enterprise value report and Arsenal’s ranking among other clubs in Europe will worry every supporter.
The Gunners’ value has dropped by a staggering 22% – the worst decline among the top 14 clubs on the list.

Manchester United have suffered a 20.4% decline, while Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City’s values have gone down by 14.1%, 15.5% and 16.7% respectively.
Tottenham are more valuable than Arsenal now
The worst part about the report is that Tottenham Hotspur are deemed more valuable at the moment than Arsenal. They are valued at £1.54 billion now, while our value has dropped down to £1.3 billion – who would’ve ever thought this would happen?
The financial impact of the pandemic, lack of stadium revenue and the losses incurred as a result of dropping out of Europe explains the current valuation of our beloved club, but it still hurts to see us where we are.
Arsenal supporters, predictably, feel that this all the Kroenkes’ fault. The anger towards KSE has gone up significantly since the report came to light, and even though it’s not fully their fault, they have to be held accountable.

Some fans, surprisingly, feel that the decline in the club’s value could now tempt the Kroenkes to sell and walk away before things get worse. That makes sense, but it’s extremely unlikely at this point.
