Away from the pressures at Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga is managing to impress in his time on loan at Spanish club Sevilla.
The midfielder hasn’t been in Mikel Arteta’s plans over the past few seasons, having failed to land a place in the team at the Emirates Stadium.
A few decent displays on loan at Luton Town in the 2023/24 campaign showed there is plenty of promise there, though injuries stunted his campaign from gaining much momentum.
After returning to Arsenal in the summer, Albert Sambi Lokonga made the loan switch to Sevilla, where he has landed a run of games.
While Lokonga has been out through injury, his recent return to the side has the local press raving about his display.

Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga returns from injury for Sevilla
Lokonga recently returned to training for Sevilla, working his way back towards full fitness for the side and their final run-in for the season.
The race for Europe in La Liga is heating up and Sevilla have some work to do to qualify for the big competitions.
That all started with a clash against Real Sociedad, with the return of Lokonga coming from the bench for the final 20 minutes or so.
He helped Sevilla see out a 1-0 victory, putting them just five points behind Real Betit in the sixth European spot this season.
Ratings from El Desmarque were full of praise for the cameo from Lokonga, giving him an 8/10 rating and saying: “His return was one of the best pieces of news, especially if he is at this level.
“Half an hour of quality, being the protagonist, associating with Lukebakio, firm in defence and even with arrivals.”
It was a taster of what Lokonga will be hoping is a strong end to the season ahead of a summer of expected change.

Where his future lies beyond the summer remains to be seen, with it unlikely to be at the Emirates Stadium.
Whether Sevilla trigger a deal is unclear, but it is a huge decision to make as they weigh up quality and availability.
