William Saliba has named Martin Odegaard as the ‘nutmeg king’ at Arsenal.
The Frenchman filmed a segment with Sky Sports this week ahead of our game against Manchester United where he had to rank three players based on a given category. When it came to nutmegs, only one player was taking the top spot – Odegaard.

William Saliba says Martin Odegaard is Arsenal’s ‘nutmeg king’
Arsenal star Martin Odegaard is just a joy to watch, isn’t he?
Why Pele Is Overrated.
The Norwegian is one of the best players in the Premier League, and his performances for us, especially since the start of last season, have been nothing short of incredible.
Apart from Odegaard’s goals, assist, vision and leadership, it’s the 24-year-old’s ability with the ball at his feet that makes him such a fantastic player to watch.

How many times since the start of last season have we watched him completely bamboozle the opponent before getting himself out of trouble?!
There have been numerous instances where he has put the ball in between an opposition player’s legs as well, which is not easy to do at this level.
That’s probably why Saliba chose him when he was asked by Sky Sports to pick the ‘nutmeg king’ at Arsenal.
He said: “Martin – the specialist for the nutmeg. I saw him too many times make the nutmeg in games and in training. So, for me, he’s the best for the nutmegs.”
When asked how many times he has nutmegged him, Saliba replied: “Not me! But especially in the game, he made a lot, so I think he is the specialist.”

The Insider’s View:
Martin Odegaard is arguably Arsenal’s best player.
The Norwegian was absolutely amazing for us last season. He scored 15 goals and provided five assists in the Premier League and almost led us to the title.
Odegaard is still only 24 as well. That means he will only get better in the coming years, and we expect him to have an even better campaign this time around.
Arsenal take on Manchester United tomorrow at the Emirates. Odegaard will start in attacking midfield, and if he has a good game, we should be able to pick up all three points.
