TalkSport pundit Jason Cundy has compared Arsenal to one of the Premier League’s best-ever sides after last night’s win against Sheffield United.
The Gunners put on yet another performance for the ages as Mikel Arteta’s side trampled Sheffield United 6-0 at Bramall Lane, setting more Premier League records and again making a huge statement.
With the best goal difference in the division as well as the best defence, Arsenal fans and pundits are now starting to dream that the north London side could go the distance and win the Premier League.

And speaking on TalkSport after the match, pundit Cundy compared Arsenal’s current run of Premier League form and their style of play to Jurgen Klopp’s legendary league-winning side in the 2019/20 season.
Liverpool that year famously blew the league apart as the Reds claimed their first league title in 30 years, and Arsenal fans being compared to that Anfield side is quite the accomplishment.
Cundy said: “They’re relentless, they’re like a swarm at the minute. They swarm all over you, energy, high intensity, goals, they remind me a little bit of that Liverpool side that won the title under Klopp.
“Right now, if you’re going to say to me ‘who is the best in the land?’ It’s Arsenal, they’re the best team in the land. They came back to beast mode after Dubai.”

Arsenal have had some great teams since winning the Premier League unbeaten 20 years ago, yet for most fans, what we’re seeing now might be the best we’ve seen from the Gunners.
Everything is as perfect as it can be from the style of attack to the strength of the defence to even the options Mikel Arteta has to call upon from the bench.
It might be a lofty claim to make, but the numbers speak for themselves, and Arsenal can start to dream that they can go all the way in the Premier League this season.
