Arsenal have made a high-flying start in all competitions in the new campaign, and Theo Walcott has now been discussing the Gunners’ chances of going all the way in Europe.

Mikel Arteta’s team currently lead the way in both the Premier League and Champions League, showing just how strong they have now become under the Spanish manager.

Arsenal’s depth has really improved over the summer, thanks to Andrea Berta’s impressive work in his first transfer window.

Now, Theo Walcott has been rating the North London club’s chances of going all the way in Europe, and it’s looking good for the Gunners.

Theo Walcott names his top three Champions League picks

Theo Walcott has named Arsenal in his top three picks to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

The former Arsenal winger also selected Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain as his other favourites to win the competition.

Bayern and Arsenal are the only two clubs to have made a perfect start to the Champions League this term, winning all four matches.

Meanwhile, the defending champions are three points behind them, having just lost at the Parc des Princes to the German giants.

When asked to name his top three picks to win the Champions League this season, Walcott told Prime Video: “In no particular order, I’m going to go for Arsenal, PSG, of course, and Bayern Munich. They are my three.”

It’s a strong selection of clubs from the ex-Premier League star, with Bayern and Arsenal certainly looking the two best teams in Europe this campaign.

Bayern Munich are going to be without Luis Diaz for their trip to London at the end of the month to face Arsenal.

The Colombian forward was shown a straight red card in their win over PSG in the French capital and he will now serve a ban in the competition.
