Arsenal’s disappointing run of results continues as they suffered a defeat to Inter Milan in the Champions League.
The San Siro is always a difficult place to go to and the Nerazzurri are one of the best teams in Italy. They are the defending champions and every Arsenal player knew the challenge in front of them.
To be fair to the Gunners, they played well – much better than in their recent defeats against Newcastle United and Bournemouth.
Sadly, that wasn’t enough for them to get a result against Inter on Wednesday night.

Thierry Henry slams ‘not good enough’ Arsenal and makes title claim
Arsenal started the season as one of the favourites to win the Premier League title.
The Gunners have come close in each of the last two campaigns. They even took the race to the last day of the season in 2023/24 and narrowly missed out.
Many people felt that this will be Arsenal’s season, but things just have not gone to plan for Mikel Arteta and his men so far.
Arsenal have dropped points in five of their first 10 Premier League games this season. That has pushed them down to fifth in the table, seven points behind the leaders, Liverpool.
That is a huge gap already, which is why Thierry Henry is adamant that Arsenal are not in the title picture right now.
When Micah Richards asked if Arsenal are challenging for the Premier League crown, Henry replied on CBS Sports: “Right now, they’re not. They’re not challenging for the league. Obviously, as you can see, the results are not good enough to be able to be at the top, (but) still a long way to go.”
Then, when Jamie Carragher asked if Arsenal’s title dreams would be over if they lost to Chelsea on Sunday, Henry said: “I think it will be extremely difficult. Why? Because you have too many teams to catch.
“One team can have a problem, but one and two – we’re going with Liverpool and Man City – I don’t see two teams collapsing, that’s my issue.”
Henry’s verdict is harsh, but he’s right
Arsenal fans will not like Henry’s assessment of their title chances.
We’re only in November and there’s still a long way to go in the title race. There’s every chance the Gunners can mount a comeback and lift the crown in May.
However, at this moment in time, the results are simply not good enough.
Arsenal have lost three and drawn one of their last five games in the Premier League and the Champions League. They haven’t shown any signs of being champions.
If Arsenal lose to Chelsea on Sunday and both Liverpool and Manchester City win their games, the title dream could be over for Arteta and his men.
