Thierry Henry has issued a new verdict on Arsenal’s Premier League title chances after Manchester City’s win last night against Brentford.

Pep Guardiola’s side overtook the Gunners in the standings after a 1-0 win at the Etihad Stadium, with first and third place only separated by two points in what is lining up to be quite a title race.

Whilst Arsenal have been the in-form side in recent weeks, there’s no guarantees yet that the north London side will win the Premier League, with club legend Henry making a new verdict on the Gunners’ title chances.

Speaking on CBS Sports Golazo, Henry said when asked about Arsenal’s title chances after City’s win against Brentford: “When you are third, you don’t feel comfortable.

“Where I am kind of happy, I mentioned it, the front three not scoring enough goals and people go on the bandwagon straight away ‘they need a striker’. They needed to finish their opportunities because they had so many opportunities.

“I could show you games where they had chances way more easier than the one they scored with recently, but they didn’t put the ball into the back of the net.

“When we are in a situation when we create chances and we put the ball into the back of the net, even playing without Gabriel Jesus, we can be very difficult to beat. But the last five games away from home will decide the title for us at Arsenal.”
