Thierry Henry has had some magic moments as an Arsenal player but for the man himself, his very best moment came late on his career.
Henry wowed the Arsenal fans for years before departing for Barcelona but he made a return to the club for a short loan spell in 2012.
The Frenchman managed just the single goal in that return but according to Henry himself, that is very much his favourite ever Arsenal moment.
Prove us wrong: You can’t name a better Thierry Henry moment than this…
Thierry Henry’s best moment in an Arsenal shirt
Ranking Henry’s best moment in an Arsenal shirt is nigh on impossible for a fan but to hear the man himself speak about it, it holds more weight.
Indeed, according to Henry, it was his return goal against Leeds that tops the lot.
“Coming back, and scoring a goal as a fan, my way, as a number 12, that was the number I wanted, it was my 12th game against Leeds and I scored with 12 minutes to go,” Henry said.
“Being able to reconnect with everyone for that minute. Like for one hour and 45, I was still in my boots and my socks. I was just daydreaming. I’m sure Arsenal fans would say the Spurs goal is higher but I didn’t want to put them too high on the list.”

Henry chose to rank the Leeds goal above two other special moments in his Arsenal career.
The first one – which he ranked number two – was his performance away at Real Madrid when Arsenal won 1-0 as Henry firmly confirmed himself as one of the best ever.
The other – ranked third – was when Henry ran riot against Tottenham in a 3-0 win, forever embedding himself as a legend among the Arsenal fans.
Still, football is about small moments and given Henry’s age and the timing in his career, it’s little wonder this goal against Leeds ranks so highly.
