Thierry Henry has recently admitted that he is a big fan of former Arsenal academy star Donyell Malen ahead of this summer’s World Cup in North America.
Malen is one of the best strikers in Italy right now, and he will be aiming to have a great World Cup campaign with the Netherlands.
Speaking about Ronald Koeman’s options for this summer’s tournament, Henry mentioned Malen as one of the players to keep an eye on.
When commenting on the Netherlands’ attacking options, Henry told FHM: “You have a guy who is doing extremely well right now in Roma.”
The 27-year-old spent two years in the Gunners’ academy, playing for both the Under-18s and then the Under-21s.

In 57 appearances for the academy, the forward netted 18 goals and provided seven assists before he was eventually sold to PSV Eindhoven.
Arsenal sold the attacker for just £500,000 back in 2017 when he was aged 19, and he has since gone on to big things across Europe.
But once again, Hale End has proven to have produced another very impressive attacker as Arsenal continue to prove it has one of the best academies in world football.
