Arsenal legend Thierry Henry seems really impressed by three of Mikel Arteta’s star players – Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and our summer signing, Gabriel Jesus.

The Gunners are on top of the Premier League table at the moment. We’ve lost just one game in all competitions, and one of the biggest reasons why we’ve been so good is our incredible front three.

Arsenal have the youngest average starting XI in the Premier League so far this season. To have that and still be on top of the Premier League table is an extraordinary achievement.

Our two youngest players this campaign play in attack – Saka and Martinelli.

The two wingers have been sensational for the Gunners so far. Saka has five goals and four assists to his name in all competitions, while Martinelli has four and two respectively. Our main man, Jesus, on the other hand, has five goals and five assists in just 12 starts.

Henry, who knows a thing or two about goals and assists, seems really impressed by our three attackers.

The legendary Frenchman said on CBS Sports on Paramount+ (25/10/22 at 7:20 pm): “Jesus is a guy who can put more pressure.

“Is he going to be a guy that’s going to score 25-30 goals? No! But what he does is contagious.

“Then you have the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, who can do wonders.”

The Insider’s View:

Almost every great team in the history of the game has had a prolific goalscorer in their attack. They often lead the side to victory in games, but at Arsenal now, we’re doing things a bit differently.

Instead of an Erling Haaland or Mo Salah or Harry Kane up top who will score more than 30 goals in all competitions every season, we have three players who could collectively contribute to around 45-50 goals.

We have the likes of Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard chipping in from midfield as well, while Emile Smith Rowe, who was one of our top scorers last season, has barely played this term.

Arteta’s vision is to make us a complete team, and our front three of Saka, Martinelli and Jesus are already showing how good they can be. In the coming months and years, we’re sure they’ll be even better.

Henry is definitely impressed – we should be too.
