Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has claimed that Bukayo Saka is carrying the club right now.

The Englishman is one of the best players in the Premier League. He has been magnificent for us in recent seasons, and he had a solid game against Luton Town last night as well. Henry was really impressed.

If you’re a football fan, you just can’t help but admire Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

The winger has played 200 games for the Gunners despite being just 22 years old, which is a truly extraordinary achievement, and what makes it even better is the fact that he has been our best player in a large portion of those games.

Saka started against Luton Town last night, and he had a good game. He picked up an assist after some clever play by Gabriel Jesus to help Gabriel Martinelli score our opener and remained a constant threat throughout.

Thierry Henry, who knows a thing or two about being a great footballer, has had his say on the ‘world-class‘ Saka, and he believes the England international is the main man at Arsenal this season – ahead of the likes of Declan Rice, William Saliba and even skipper Martin Odegaard.

He said on Amazon Prime Video Sport last night: “His impact in the game, what he does. I know Declan Rice has been scoring goals, Saliba at the back, as much as Odegaard was last year…

“For me, this year, Bukayo Saka is – as much as I can say this as it’s a great team effort – he is having the team on his shoulders.”

People have had a lot to say about how Bukayo Saka hasn’t been at his best for Arsenal this season.

Yes, the Englishman definitely isn’t playing at his highest level yet, but despite that, his numbers this season are absolutely incredible.

Saka has scored eight goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions so far this season. That’s 20 direct goal contributions in just 21 games, which is outrageous for someone so young.

The 22-year-old is already one of the best players in the world, but he’s nowhere near his prime yet. If he can carry on, he will end his career as an Arsenal legend.
