There have been a lot of opinions about Arsenal and their style of play this season.
The Gunners are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and are also the favourites to win the Champions League. They are still alive in the FA Cup as well.
Despite how well they have fared, several people have blasted Mikel Arteta for his tactics and system. Even a few pundits have gone as far as calling Arsenal ‘boring’.
However, Anthony Barry, the assistant of England manager Thomas Tuchel, is having none of that.
What is your response to people who say ‘Arsenal are boring’?
Are Arsenal really boring?
England assistant manager Anthony Barry disagrees with Arsenal’s critics
Arsenal are the most dominant team in the Premier League.
The Gunners have complete control in almost every phase of play, and that is what makes them such a difficult side to beat.
Teams know that Arsenal could blow them out of the water if they try to go toe-to-toe with them, which is why almost every manager chooses to deploy a low block.
That makes certain games seem boring, and instead of criticising the teams that park the bus, all the negative comments are directed at Arsenal.

Barry, who understands the game much better than those who criticise Arsenal’s style of play, says he completely disagrees with the critics.
He told BBC Sport: “I’m completely in awe of Arsenal and what they are doing and what Mikel has built there.
“The team they have, the personality they have in the group, the way they play this year… I think they’ve been fantastic.
“So anybody who speaks ill of them or speaks about them in a negative way, I certainly wouldn’t agree with.”
Who has been Arsenal’s BEST attacking player this season?
Arsenal players and Mikel Arteta should ignore everyone who criticises their style
Apart from perhaps Fabian Hurzeler, every manager who has faced Arsenal this season has heaped praise on the way they play.
The Gunners are so strong in every department that it usually takes something special for teams to get the better of them.
Arsenal should continue to play as they have done. People only have a problem because it makes them hard to beat, but that is the aim of the game.
Arteta and his players should completely shut down the noise coming from rival supporters and pundits, because those who understand the game have a completely different opinion.
