Three ESPN pundits, including former Arsenal star Stewart Robson, have all now predicted how the Gunners will fare in the upcoming title race.
Arsenal will be aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
In each of the last two seasons, Mikel Arteta’s side have finished as runners up behind Manchester City. Last time around the Gunners were able to take the title race down to wire, with the crown still being up for grabs on the final day of the campaign.
After the North London club fell agonisingly short, Arteta promised Arsenal fans that silverware is on the way.
Now is the time for the Spanish coach to deliver on that promise. The manager, and sporting director Edu, have built a squad capable of competing for the title, but now they need to prove that they can go one step better and actually win it.

ESPN pundits predict outcome of Arsenal and Manchester City’s Premier League title fight
Speaking on ESPN, three pundits have now all backed the Gunners to win the league on this occasion.
Former Arsenal ace Stewart Robson said: “I can see exactly why people are saying that Arsenal are going to win the title. They’ve got a great team spirit, the crowd are now fully behind the team, behind the manager… They’ve got excellent players.”
Ex-Manchester City defender Nedum Onouha stated: “From my standpoint, obviously we know that City are a very good side, I think this is going to be a very significant year for them in terms of hearings and stuff like that… But I like Arsenal. I like Arsenal a lot. Those players, I feel like they have growth within them… I believe they can do better.”
Mario Melchiot added: “It’s been going for a couple of seasons now, and I’ve been saying ‘Arsenal, Arsenal.’ Every time it’s almost like they disappoint me, because I expect them to go all the way… I still think Arsenal have the ingredients, they have everything set up to go all the way.”
How Mikel Arteta is preparing Arsenal for title push
The Gunners have already made efforts this summer to gain an extra edge over their opponents. Arteta took a number of Arsenal players to Marbella for an extra training camp, ahead of the official start of pre-season.
Arsenal will also be looking to strengthen their squad in the transfer market. Riccardo Calafiori has already joined the club, and Arteta is now eyeing up two more targets.
Of course, Manchester City will be using the market to strengthen too, and many people will still have the reigning champions as their favourites to win the Premier League again.
