Everyone around Arsenal might be doom and gloom at the moment but former Tottenham man Tim Sherwood has come out fighting for the Gunners.
A 2-1 defeat to Man City has deflated many fans and left others questioning if the title will ever come back to The Emirates.
However, while City hold the advantage for now, it’s not all lost for Arsenal just yet.
Indeed, according to Tim Sherwood, the title is still the Gunners’ to lose.

Tim Sherwood claims Arsenal will still beat Man City to the title
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Sherwood commented on the pressure Arsenal find themselves under.
However, in a surprise prediction, Sherwood suggested it will be Arsenal who gets the title won.
“I think the pressure of being up there has taken its toll. Look, the momentum is with Man City now, of course it is. But I was impressed with Arsenal yesterday. They should have got a draw, you see the chance at the end, it was an easy header from Kai Havertz and if he scores that he’s over,” Sherwood said.
“But then the big man makes the difference and that is why they win championships. But, I’ve looked at the fixtures now and there’s some tough games for City. There’s some tough games for Arsenal too don’t get me wrong but I just think they might pip them.”
Predicting Arsenal’s final five games of the season
There is still a lot to play for but Arsenal now need to win all five games or it is effectively over.
They do have the points on the board already which is a huge advantage but that also adds pressure, especially if City win their game in hand this week.
Arsenal should beat Newcastle at home this weekend and after that, a home clash with Fulham also looks more than winnable.
💭 How many points will Arsenal and Man City take from the next five matches?
The trickiest of Arsenal’s ties could come away at West Ham the week after, and it could well be this game that decides the fate of the title.
Arsenal then face Burnley at home in another winnable clash, before travelling to face Crystal Palace on the final day of the season. Like West Ham, that Palace clash could be huge and with City facing them the week before and then Aston Villa on the final day, it could well be Oliver Glasner’s team who have a big say on the title race.
Ultimately, Arsenal need to win all five games. If they drop any points, then it’s game over.
