Tottenham finished just outside the relegation zone last season as they watched Arsenal romp to the title but it seems Robert De Zerbi is still shopping in the same market as the Gunners.
De Zerbi was brought in to complete the rescue mission with Spurs and he succeeded eventually.
The club are now backing the Italian in the market and after signing Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson, Tottenham are now looking for stellar names.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, they are now in the hunt for one of Arsenal’s top targets.

Tottenham think they can sign Sandro Tonali ahead of Arsenal
Tottenham fans have been begging ENIC for years to really go and splash the cash and with an apparent interest in Tonali, it looks like they are doing just that.
According to Fabrizio Romano, De Zerbi has identified Tonali as his top midfield target for the summer.
It’s claimed that Spurs feel they can compete with both Man City and Arsenal in the hunt to land Tonali, who is expected to be able to leave Newcastle if a club gets near their £100m valuation.
Tonali has been a major star for the Toon since his arrival from AC Milan and after coming back from a ban, he’s continued to play well.
Arsenal themselves are huge admirers of the Italian and with Mikel Arteta seeking a fresh midfielder as well, Tonali has been mentioned more than once.
For now, it seems like there is going to be a huge battle for Tonali, which will only drive his price up.
Man United also admire him, meaning that any chance of signing Tonali is likely to come down to who pays the most and offers the biggest contract.
Quite whether Spurs can compete with Arsenal, City and United on that front, only they will know.
