Arsenal weren’t at their best against Southampton last night, but Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka played very, very well out wide.
The Gunners started the game terribly. We went 2-0 down after just 14 minutes and the Saints made it 3-1 after the break to put us at risk of losing.
Martinelli, Saka and Odegaard’s goals helped us pick up a point in the end.

Why Pele Is Overrated.
Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli join Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in Premier League history books
Arsenal’s young players have been absolutely brilliant for over two years now, and they’ve all stepped up massively this season.
Saka is arguably our best player, while Martinelli has reached a whole new level this term.
The Englishman has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League this season, while Martinelli has managed 15 goals and provided five assists so far.
Both players, who are still 21, have directly been involved in at least 20 goals, which is a sensational achievement. It’s such a great feat that only two other players of the same club aged 21 or under have managed that in a season in the history of the Premier League – Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2006/07 campaign. (Squawka)
Rooney scored 14 goals and provided 12 assists in the league that season, while Ronaldo found the net 17 times and assisted eight more goals.
They’re both absolute legends of the Premier League, and Saka and Martinelli have joined them in the history books now, with six games still left in the season.
The Insider’s View:
Saka and Martinelli are destined for greatness.
The two youngsters are already up there with the best players in the Premier League. They have been sensational this season and are among the biggest reasons why we are on top of the table.
Irrespective of whether we win the Premier League title or not, both Saka and Martinelli deserve to be in the Team of the Season next month.
The scary thing for Arsenal’s opponents is the fact that both players will only get better in the coming years.
