Arsenal seem to be on a bit of a roll in terms of producing young players for the first-team and things don’t look like slowing down anytime soon either.
This season has seen the emergence of Max Dowman while last year, we were treated to Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly breaking into the team as well.
Fall back all the way to when Bukayo Saka came into the team, and Arsenal’s recent history in producing young players is something to be proud of.
However, things aren’t stopping and the feeling inside Arsenal is they might have two more gems in the form of the Quintero brothers.

Holger and Edwin Quintero creating a huge buzz inside Arsenal
Anyone who follows the youth scene at Arsenal will have heard of South American twins Holger and Edwin Quintero.
The Ecuadorian duo were signed in December of 2025 but won’t officially join the Gunners until 2027 due to international rules.
Holger, who plays more as a central midfielder and Edwin, who is a winger, have caught the eye and are already getting regular minutes at current club Independiente del Valle at youth level.
Now, they seem to have taken things to the next level, with Holger Quintero winning the player of the tournament as Independiente’s young guns came out on top in the Liam Brady Cup.
As noted by Arsenal journalist Ryan Taylor, the Quintero twins are already creating a real buzz among those inside Arsenal.
Indeed, the performance by both today will have gone down a treat, with Holger in particular impressing in landing the player of the tournament trophy.
Both players will join the Gunners on five-year contracts when they eventually move over.
There is further expectation on the duo too, with both Moises Caicedo and Piero Hincapie having emerged from the same academy previously.
Of course, if either player can replicate one of those players, then Arsenal’s £9m gamble here will have more than paid off.
