Arsenal are facing a number of injury problems across the board, and yet more players have withdrawn from international duty.
William Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard will all sit out their country’s fixtures during the two-week break as they continue to recover from injury, and they will now be joined by two youth players.
Top prospects Reuell Walters and Amario Cozier-Duberry were both selected in different England youth squads, with Cozier-Duberry in the under-19s side and Walters in the Men’s Elite League squad.
However, both have now withdrawn through injuries, with England confirming that they will play no part in their upcoming fixtures.
Two players pull out with injury
England have confirmed in a statement following the withdrawal of Saka yesterday, that the two academy players will also miss their upcoming games, and replacements have been drafted for them.
Cozier-Duberry, an 18-year-old winger, will be replaced by Manchester City’s Ezra Carrington, whilst Walters, an 18-year-old defender, will be replaced by Nelson Abbey of Reading.
Both players will remain at Arsenal during the break, with the extent of their injuries currently unknown, and they will now not play a part in Arsenal under-21’s next fixture away at Exeter City tonight.
Two top talents

Both players are two of the very best in the academy right now, and it will be hoped that their injuries are not serious.
Both have appeared in senior matchday squads, with Walters also featuring heavily in a number of pre-season campaigns, and first-team debuts may not be far off for the pair.
Arsenal’s upcoming Carabao Cup tie away at West Ham will be a good chance for them to feature at least on the bench, and they will be hoping that they can recover in time.
The pair were unused substitutes in the victory away at Brentford in the Third Round, with Charles Sagoe Junior making a surprise start, and the teenagers will be aiming to follow in his footsteps with a senior bow.
