Gabriel Jesus hasn’t played a single minute of football for Arsenal since the World Cup, but it looks like he’s back in full training now.

The Brazilian joined us from Manchester City last summer for £45 million (BBC). His arrival raised the excitement levels in and around the Emirates, and he showed his class from the very first day.

Jesus helped change the mentality at Arsenal, and even though he hasn’t played a game for us since November, he’s one of the biggest reasons why we are on top of the Premier League table.

Gabriel Jesus returns to full Arsenal training

Arsenal stars are hard at work at London Colney today ahead of our game against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League tomorrow.

There are a few notable absentees from training – Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and Kieran Tierney – but the big news is that Jesus is back and he looks strong.

The Brazilian had to undergo surgery after injuring his knee in the game against Cameroon at the World Cup in December. It has been a hard road back for Jesus, but it’s only a matter of time before he dons the red and white again.

In a video posted by Football Daily, Jesus has been spotted taking part in full training.

The 25-year-old can be seen running in full flow and he even goes in for a tackle. He appears to be moving really well, and that is a hugely exciting sight for all Arsenal fans.

Will he play vs Sporting Lisbon?

No, Jesus is not expected to be involved in Arsenal’s game against Sporting tomorrow.

The Brazilian will, however, travel with the squad to the Portuguese capital and that, according to The Sun, is viewed as the next step in his rehabilitation.

The same outlet further claims that Jesus will only be back after the international break, which means his first game back is set to be against Leeds United at home on April 1st.

If Jesus comes back firing, we should back ourselves to win the Premier League this season.
