Gabriel Martinelli pulls off outrageous rabona nutmeg on Juventus star in Brazil training
Brazil’s players have been hard at work this week ahead of their final group stage game against Cameroon.
Tite’s side are already through to the next round of the World Cup, which means Arsenal’s two Brazilians – Gabriel Jesus and Martinelli – could both get an opportunity tonight.
Martinelli, for one, has apparently been blowing people away in Brazil’s training sessions. Goal revealed in an article this week that the Arsenal number 11 has been showing a ‘lot of efficiency’ in assisting and finishing in Qatar.
One such example can be seen in a video from Brazil’s training session that made its way onto social media.
Martinelli provides an assist to Tottenham’s Richarlison after pulling off an outrageous rabona nutmeg on Juventus centre-half Gleison Bremer. Watch his sensational piece of skill in the video below!
The Insider’s View:
What a talent Martinelli is!
The 21-year-old is one of the first names on Arsenal’s team sheet these days, and although he isn’t quite there yet at international level for Brazil, he’s showing everyone in training that he deserves to be there.
Tite was at the end of a ton of criticism for picking Martinelli over players like Roberto Firmino and Gabriel Barbosa. The Brazil boss, however, did not care, and everyone’s seeing why now.
Brazil take on Cameroon tonight – hopefully, Martinelli gets an opportunity show the world why he’s so highly rated.
