Viktor Gyokeres is becoming ever more popular as an Arsenal player and he’s explained why Martin Odegaard and Christian Norgaard are two of his best mates in the squad.
Gyokeres is having what can only be termed as a zero to hero season and is now seen by many as crucial to any Arsenal success.
That success, of course, is helped by a strong team spirit and Gyokeres has explained why he has bonded with Norgaard and Odegaard.
Viktor Gyokeres says it’s ‘easy’ to hang out with any Arsenal teammate
Like any new player, Gyokeres has had to do some blending in and also bide his time in terms of being a settled first-choice in the XI.

Still, he is very much happy and in revealing just how together the Arsenal squad is, he’s explained how Christian Norgaard and Martin Odegaard help him.
“To be fair, I hang out here most of the time. So, yeah, but of course the Scandinavian guys in the team, Christian and Martin, I hang out with them a lot,” Gyokeres revealed on NBC Sports.
“But yeah, I think it’s easy to hang out with most of the guys in the team to be to be honest. And yeah, I think we are that as a group where yeah, everyone can be with everyone.
“So yeah, I think it’s a good group.”
Mikel Arteta has been hell bent on building a strong team spirit ever since he walked in the door as manager.
If Mikel Arteta wins the Premier League, where does he rank among the ALL-TIME great Arsenal managers?
His early decisions to rid the club of players like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and then later the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette, showed a ruthless side all the top managers need.
Clearly, Arteta has got this current squad purring and Gyokeres’ explanation here on his teammates is another example of that spirit.
