Viktor Gyokeres hails Gabriel Magalhaes

It’s awards season in Hollywood, and the Premier League have run their own version of some of the most prestigious awards in the industry.

Viktor Gyokeres was asked which Arsenal player would deserve the ‘best leading role’ award, for the player who always steps up when he’s needed most.

Interestingly, Gyokeres picked Gabriel Magalhaes as the player he believes deserves this accolade.

“Best leading role, always steps up when you need him most?” Gyokeres was asked.

“Gabriel Magalhaes,” Gyokeres said.

Gyokeres says Gabriel steps up when it matters for Arsenal, and he’s not wrong.

Indeed, the Brazilian may be a defender, but he has a knack of scoring massive goals in massive moments to help Arsenal.

As ‘clutch’ players come, there aren’t many better than Gabriel, and who knows? He may have a few more moments in him this season as Arsenal look to complete an unprecedented quadruple.
