Wayne Rooney has said one Arsenal star has a ‘game-changing’ ability that only a few players in the game currently have.
It’s been another huge year of growth for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta, with the Basque coach taking Arsenal to new heights having finished just two points off eventual Premier League champions Manchester City in the final standings.
Having dropped just points in two league games in 2024, Arsenal enjoyed a record-breaking year in the Premier League, with Martin Odegaard and William Saliba developing into world-class players in their respective positions.
And Rooney has said Arsenal now have one player who has a ‘very rare’ set of skills

Bukayo Saka praised after ‘fantastic’ growth with Arsenal
Speaking to the Premier League’s official YouTube channel, the England and Manchester United legend hailed Bukayo Saka for his unique ball-carrying abilities, with the attacker praised for being a ‘game-changer’ for Arsenal.
WIth Saka coming off his best season yet for Arsenal, praise for the attacker is more than warranted, with the winger now set for a summer where he could lead England to international glory in Germany at the Euros.

Rooney said about Saka’s style of play and his development over the years: “It’s very rare you get wide players running off the ball and running in behind, and I think his movement is fantastic.
“You imagine his position on the right for England is almost cemented in. He is a game-changer who can win games for you. He has been fantastic, especially the last couple of years.”

Arsenal have transformed Saka into a near-perfect attacker
20 goals and 14 assists for a club like Arsenal is nothing short of extraordinary for Saka, who this year has gone up multiple levels in his bid to become the best in the world in his position.
And under Arteta, Saka is on course to become the dream winger for the Gunners, with the 22-year-old already near-perfect at what he does out-wide in the attacker.
Rival teams are having to stick two or even three players on Saka to stop him from causing damage, yet this still isn’t preventing the Arsenal star from doing what he does best, with the winger still not yet at his full potential.
