Viktor Gyokeres has broken his silence on potentially leaving Sporting Lisbon, with Arsenal reportedly interested in the striker.
The Swedish international has been arguably the breakout star in Europe this season with Gyokeres hitting an outstanding 36 goals and 14 assists in all competitions for Sporting.
The leading goalscorer in Europe’s top-ten leagues this year, Gyokeres’ form has attracted the interest of Arsenal, with the attacker having a release clause valued at £85m.
Viktor Gyokeres breaks silence on Arsenal transfer links

However, speaking to Expressen, Gyokeres has finally opened up on growing summer interest, with the Swedish star shrugging off talk of a potential departure from Sporting.
Indeed, whilst the 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the likes of Arsenal, the player himself seems very calm about his future, with Gyokeres only focused on the Portuguese giants.
Gyokeres said when asked about his future at the end of this season: “I am not thinking much about the future. I want to win the league and the cup with Sporting.
“That’s where I put all my energy into in the club. We’ll see this summer. It’s not something I know about myself, what will happen. I am enjoying Sporting and feel no stress about the summer coming up.”
Viktor Gyokeres has a big decision to make this summer

With 50 goal contributions this season for Sporting, it would be something of an understatement to say that Gyokeres is a man in demand heading into the summer.
The former Coventry City star has blown every expectation of himself this season out of the water, and Arsenal are now interested in bringing Gyokeres back to England in the transfer window.
Whilst the Gunners face competition, it’s clear that Gyokeres has a big decision to make this summer, and joining a club as big as Arsenal might not be what the forward prefers for his career.
