Arsenal put us through a roller coaster of emotions this evening.
The Gunners dominated the first half but gifted Benfica a goal before half time. We did the same again in the 61st minute and it genuinely looked like the end of our season.
Kieran Tierney halved the deficit six minutes later and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave us the win just three minutes before the 90.
Auba’s brace means he will make the headlines but both his goals were assisted by Bukayo Saka.

What a player this young man is!
Saka wasn’t at his absolute best today but he still managed to deliver when it mattered the most. His vision for Auba’s first goal was absolutely sensational and the way he found his skipper for the winner when we had our backs against the wall showed just how incredible a player he is.
Arsenal fans have been raving about Saka on social media and a former Gunner has jumped on the bandwagon. Here’s what Bacary Sagna said after the game.
‘What a player’ indeed.
That’s now six goals and seven assists in all competitions for Saka this season. He is playing well beyond his age, and if can continue his progression at the same rate, he will become one of the best players in the country very soon.
Arsenal now await their next opponent in the Europa League. There are plenty of good teams still left in the competition, but if Saka can keep producing the goods, we’ll have nothing to worry about.
