Arsenal are set to take on French giants Paris Saint-Germain in their first home Champions League clash of the season.
Mikel Arteta’s side drew 0-0 with Atalanta in their first ‘league phase’ game of the competition, but the Champions League anthem will be playing at the Emirates Stadium again for the first time since April as PSG travel to North London.
This is Arsenal’s first European Home game since a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals last season, in which Serge Gnabry scored against his old side.
It was a difficult draw which ultimately cost Arsenal the tie, and there was frustration at both on-pitch and off-field matters on the night.
The club have now liaised with supporter groups to allow for something special to be planned at the Emirates for the PSG clash, and here’s all you need to know.

Arsenal fan groups plan Emirates Stadium displays for PSG Champions League clash
Supporters group RedACTION have planned for a flag display in the North Bank of the stadium, whilst they have also encouraged supporters to be in their seats earlier than usual.
“We have some new stuff on display at the North Bank on Tuesday night, and AA are also doing their thing down at the Clock. Please be in your seats for ‘The Angel’, scheduled for 7.52pm,” they posted on X.
On the opposite side of the Stadium in the Clock End, the Ashburton Army fan group have also encouraged all supporters to bring scarves to the Emirates Stadium to encourage a fan-led display, in addition to their own.
“We have a display planned for our Champions League fixture against PSG. We will be entering the ground at 19.00 to help build the atmosphere prior to kick-off in the block 25 concourse,” they posted in an online statement.
“We urge all those attending to also bring your scarf for the game and help impact the atmosphere in a much-needed and positive way.”
Arsenal fan frustration over Champions League atmospheres
Arsenal’s draw with Bayern Munich was met with frustration as Arsenal fan groups were denied their requests to organise an in-stadium fan display for the huge occasion, and the club did not endeavour to organise anything themselves as has been the case in the past.
When Arsenal were beaten in Champions League knockout clashes away at Porto and Bayern last season, they were greeted with intense atmospheres with full-stadium fan displays ramping the home support up, which was not matched by the fans at the Emirates.
Arsenal fans have been frustrated at the inability of the club to facilitate measures to improve the atmosphere in the stadium in recent years, and this is very noticeable on Champions League nights against top-quality opposition, which have produced some of the best moments in Emirates Stadium history in the past.
