Arsenal have now confirmed the departure of Aaron Ramsdale, with the goalkeeper joining Southampton.
Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United three years ago, and quickly became a popular figure under Mikel Arteta.
However, he lost his place to David Raya last year, and it became clear that Ramsdale needed to leave in search of first-team football.
Ramsdale has expressed his delight that he is moving back to the South Coast, and has also penned a heartfelt goodbye to Arsenal after making 89 appearances for the club.
His Arsenal teammates past and present have now reacted to his exit, and given the goalkeeper words of encouragement ahead of his fresh start.
