Bukayo Saka has reportedly ‘obsessed’ over one aspect in training to help him improve for both Arsenal and England.

The 22-year-old attacker has been one of the best players for club and country in the last three years, with Saka set to play a huge role for the Three Lions this summer at the Euros, after his best season yet for Arsenal.

Having already won plaudits from the English media after his first appearance at the European Championship, Saka seems as fired up as ever to lead Gareth Southgate’s side to success, where silverware could finally be on the cards.

And one aspect behind the scenes could now be helping Saka get the best out of his game.

Saka focused on rest and repair to get the best out of Arsenal and England performances

According to the Daily Mail, Saka has become ‘obsessed with rest and repair’ as a way to get his body ready for Arsenal and England matches, with the winger taking note of the facilities the Three Lions will be using at the Euros.

Having played 47 games in all competitions for Arsenal this season, it’s no real surprise why Saka has found a new fascination with how to heal his body faster and more efficiently after long stretches of games.

Indeed, the Gunners have made signing a suitable backup for Saka a key priority this summer, likely due to how much football the 22-year-old attacker has played in the last three seasons for club and country.

Yet the forward is seemingly doing all he can to rest himself as well as possible, with the results showing as Saka’s performance levels are yet to take any sort of noticeable dip since the turn of the year.

Saka has to ensure he doesn’t run his body into the ground

At 22-years-old, Saka is already one of the most experienced players in both the Arsenal and England squads, with the winger hardly missing a beat since breaking onto the scene as a teenager with the Gunners.

Having not suffered a major injury yet in his career, Saka has enjoyed an uninterrupted path to the top, yet the forward has to make sure that he doesn’t ruin his body into the ground like top players have done in the past.

Playing up to 50 games a year can take its toll on the human body, and for Saka, the Arsenal star has to make sure his safe and reasonable when it comes to playing as many games as he has in his young career.
