After numerous reports, Martin Odegaard is on his way back to London to rest amid the November international break.
The Arsenal captain has only just returned from an ankle injury that left him out of action for six weeks.
Odegaard sustained such injury during the September international break, with fear setting in at Arsenal as Mikel Arteta was informed the midfielder would travel for the upcoming Nations League fixtures.
Instead, it’s been confirmed that Odegaard will return to London to continue his recovery, which will be music to Arteta’s ears.

Martin Odegaard responds to Norway national team decision
Earlier in the week, Odegaard travelled to Norway to join up with Stale Solbakken’s squad ahead of the November fixtures.
Soon after, it was decided that the best course of action would be to ship the Arsenal skipper back to North London to get himself properly back on track.
Amid the mixed reports and the final conclusion, Odegaard himself sent a message to fans regarding the decision to remain in the capital with Arsenal’s upcoming tests in mind.
“I need to listen to my body, complete this rehab & get my foot back in good shape,” Odegaard said.
It’s an all-round positive call for both Norway and Arsenal, as the midfielder will aim to get back to full fitness during the break in play.
There will be some questions asked over whether the Norweigan could have been spared a flight to Norway to conclude that he’s not quite ready however, for now, the Gunners won’t care.
Arsenal injury update in November international break
The international breaks of the 2024/25 campaign have been rough for Arsenal, with each one sending Arteta into a state of anxiety.
There’s hope that the same won’t happen this time around, as key players Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka were withdrawn from the England squad, easing some of the manager’s worries.
With Odegaard back at home, there’s added belief that Arsenal can kick on after the break with their best players intact.
Arteta will of course keep a close eye on those with their respective nations during the break in play, with a lot of hurdles to overcome when the Premier League resumes.
