Arsenal have released their home and away kits for the 2025/26 season, with the third shirt now the only set in the collection that fans are waiting to get hold of.

The North London club have built a reputation for wearing spectacular strips since signing with Adidas in 2019.

The 2024/25 set of shirts received more mixed reviews than in previous campaigns, although the new trio of jerseys looks set to make up for this.

Arsenal launched their new home kit back in May, debuting it in their final home game of last season against Newcastle.

The away kit was then released prior to pre-season commencing, and was worn for each of the Gunners’ matches in Singapore, against AC Milan and Newcastle respectively.

The third strip is now set to be made public imminently.

When will Arsenal’s 2025/26 third kit be released?

According to NowArsenal, the Arsenal third kit for the 2025/26 season will be officially released on Monday, 4th August.

It’ll be available for purchase shortly after the official announcement.

This would be aligned with previous releases of the third kit, with the strip usually released at some point in August, either shortly before the season kicks off or in the early weeks of the campaign.

Last year, Arsenal launched their third shirt on August 12th, the day after their final pre-season game and five days before their Premier League campaign commenced.

However, they didn’t wear the shirt until mid-October, and thus, it’s possible that this year’s announcement is being brought forward with a view to an earlier debut.

What does Arsenal’s 2025/26 third kit look like?

The Arsenal third kit is predominantly white, with a dark maroon trimming around the edge of the shirt providing some colour.

However, the white sections of the shirt aren’t simply plain, as it includes some ambiguous patterns.

The kit closely resembles Arsenal’s popular away shirt produced by Nike for the 2007/07 season, although the club badge will merely be the cannon, rather than the full crest.

When could Arsenal first wear their 2025/26 away kit?

Arsenal have previously debuted their third kit in a pre-season match at the Emirates, and it’s possible that this could be the case next week.

The Gunners face Villarreal and Athletic Club in N5 over the next seven days.

The North London club may opt to bring out their new strip for one of these two encounters, so that it’s not first on show deep into the new season, like last term’s third kit was.

With Villarreal predominantly wearing yellow, there should be few kit clash concerns if that match is chosen.

If the new shirt isn’t debuted during pre-season, then Gunners fans may have to wait until Arsenal visit Everton in December in the Premier League to see the kit in action.

Mikel Arteta’s side face Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle, Fulham, Burnley, Sunderland, Chelsea and Aston Villa away from home before facing the Toffees, with both Arsenal’s home and away kits more suited to these opponents.

That said, the third strip could be brought out in a Champions League or cup game before this.
