Former Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini is in attendance at the Emirates Stadium for his old side’s clash with London rivals Fulham.

The ex-midfielder played for seven years with the Gunners over two separate spells, returning to the Emirates Stadium following a move to AC Milan.

While he wasn’t a stalwart for the side under Arsene Wenger, there are plenty of good memories surrounding Mathieu Flamini and his time at Arsenal.

With it being nine years since the Frenchman left for a second time, he has returned to the club for the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Fulham to be in attendance.

Mathieu Flamini visits the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal vs Fulham

Plenty of former players have recently visited the Emirates Stadium to see Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal side in action.

Santi Cazorla recently returned to Arsenal, watching on as the Gunners managed to beat Ipswich Town at home.

Now, following on from that, Flamini is now visiting the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal vs Fulham.

Much like Cazorla, the midfielder is set to feature in the pre-match show on the Arsenal YouTube channel, with a live stream called Live from N5.

Flamini is set for a short segment where he will discuss a few things and answer some questions in the build-up.

On top of that is a view to watching Arsenal at home, ideally picking up another three points to their Premier League points tally.

What does Mathieu Flamini do now?

Mathieu Flamini retired from professional football in 2019, bringing an end to his 16-year career in the senior game.

While some footballers take to punditry or coaching, Flamini has taken a bit of a different route after hanging up his boots.

The 41-year-old is a partner for GF Biochemicals in the production of sustainable products as alternatives to oil-based options.

Flamini has often discussed his love for the environment and his desire to help keep the planet a better place for the future, going on to create other ventures alongside GF Biochemicals.

There have often been reports stating that Flamini’s net worth is in the billions, but this is often due to links with GF Biochemicals and how much he believes the industry to be worth, rather than the actual net worth he has to his name.
