The North London Derby is often made up of much more than what just happens on the pitch between Arsenal and Tottenham over the years.

It’s antics off the pitch, between rival fan bases, that often help create the sense of dislike and tension between them heading into such a big tie.

While the results have swung between the two teams over the years, Arsenal have more recently gotten the better of Tottenham.

New chapters of the North London Derby are to be written next season, but in the meantime, it’s the Gunners who still have the bragging rights.

That’s not only showing in their matches on the pitch, but actions at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have shown the gap between the sides once again.

Tottenham forced to play Arsenal’s “The Angel” theme during Chris Eubank Jr vs Connor Benn undercard

While Arsenal have tended to embarrass Tottenham on the pitch, the latest frustration for Spurs came at their own ground.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium plays host to plenty of events during the year, the latest being a boxing clash between Chris Eubank Jr and Connor Benn.

During the undercard, Cheavon Clarke took on Viddal Riley and walked out to the ring with a controversial tune.

Clarke opted for “The Angel”, Arsenal’s theme that is played at the Emirates Stadium and roars the team on.

It was a bit of an embarrassing moment for Tottenham, as they were forced to play the theme of their successful rivals for all to hear.

It wasn’t to be for Clarke in the end, though, as the Cruiserweight lost to Riley on points, meaning he didn’t quite get the last laugh.

Arsenal’s record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Since opening in 2019, Arsenal have a mixed record at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when travelling to their rivals.

In the opening three matches, the Gunners lost them all and were forced to reassess how they took on Spurs.

In the years since under Mikel Arteta, success has swung the other way, with three wins in their favour now.

With Arsenal looking to extend their time at the top, while Tottenham are struggling in the bottom half, that record could yet swing in either direction.
