William Saliba and Bukayo Saka were among the Arsenal players who missed training ahead of facing Crystal Palace in the first Premier League match.
Arsenal will finally get their hands on the Premier League trophy on Sunday following their final league game of the season away in West London.
The Premier League trophy is dressed in red and white after 22 years. How does this make you feel?
After five years of working, Martin Odegaard will become the first Arsenal captain to lift the famous trophy since Patrick Vieira.
Ahead of the final game of the season, four key Gunners stars were missing from training and with the Champions League final just around the corner.
William Saliba and Bukayo Saka miss Arsenal training
William Saliba, Bukayo Saka, Mikel Merino and Jurrien Timber all missed Arsenal training on Thursday afternoon, according to Isaan Khan.
That is because the quartet of Arsenal stars are all doing individual sessions at the Sobha Realty Centre instead of training outside.
This morning, the Gunners are doing an open training session for the media as part of a UEFA media day before the final in Budapest.
Saka and Saliba are both likely to be rested ahead of the Champions League final in a week and a half’s time.

Timber is pushing hard to be fit for the Champions League final, but time is starting to run out for the Dutch defender to finally make his return.
The fact that the 24-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Gunners since March suggests that he is unlikely to play a part on May 30.
Merino could be fit to play a part in the final; however, he is also in a similar position to Timber, where he just has not played much football in 2026.
But aside from Timber and Merino, Ben White is likely to be the only other Arsenal star missing from the squad for the final.
Max Dowman was also not spotted in training, but that is simply due to the fact that the teenager has exams at school.
