Gabriel Jesus has named Jakub Kiwior as one of the funniest players at Arsenal.
Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus seems to greatly enjoy sharing a dressing room with Jakub Kiwior.
Since the north London club paid £20 million to sign him from Italian side Spezia in January, Kiwior has not had a great deal of opportunities to make an impression on the Emirates Stadium faithful. The Polish defender has just 11 appearances for the Gunners under his belt.
However, his new teammates have had plenty of time now to get to know him, although, the 23-year-old doesn’t seem to be in a rush to give much about himself away.
Speaking to the Footballerfits TikTok channel, Jesus was recently asked who the funniest player at the club is. The forward said, “Jakub, because he don’t speak. You look at him, he’s like this [Jesus shrugs].”
Kiwior is yet to fully come out of his shell since becoming an Arsenal player. This is not the first time that his shyness has been noted by a teammate either. Following the Gunners’ Community Shield triumph at the start of the campaign, Rob Holding discussed how Kiwior needed to be encouraged to join in with the Arsenal celebrations.

Jesus’ personality required on the pitch
Coming to England as a young man, the 15-cap Poland international will need some more time to adjust and settle in to his new surroundings. Perhaps then, Kiwior will feel comfortable opening up more.
At the other end of the scale, Jesus has been an expressive bundle of energy ever since his arrival at the club. Whilst he hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with Mikel Arteta, the manager will appreciate the 26-year-old’s gregariousness.
Jesus’ personality is infused into the way he plays the game. Constantly running, pressing, chasing, harrying opponents, the Brazilian is relentlessly energetic on the pitch. Those aspects of his game will be needed on Saturday, when Arsenal travel to Stamford Bridge to take on London rivals Chelsea in a Premier League encounter.
