Riccardo Calafiori is loving life at Arsenal.
The Italy international joined the Gunners from Serie A side Bologna back in July. He was on several clubs’ shortlists, but when Arsenal came in for him, Calafiori only wanted to become a Gunner.
Arsenal fans and Mikel Arteta were delighted to have Calafiori. Everyone saw what he was capable of at the Euros and his potential is absolutely massive.
Now, Calafiori has made a promise to Arsenal fans about his future.

Calafiori was eased into life in English football.
The 22-year-old was left on the bench in the first Premier League game of the season and was then only used as a substitute in the next two fixtures.
Calafiori missed the fourth game of the campaign, which was against Tottenham, due to a calf injury, but he got his first-ever start in the following clash at Manchester City.
The Italian was outstanding for Arsenal in that game and has been brilliant in every single fixture since. He is proving to be an incredible signing for the Gunners.
Calafiori is happy with his start to life at the Emirates, but the former Bologna man has now made a bold promise about himself.
He believes that he will be ‘even better’ than he already is in just six months.
Calafiori said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “It’s going very well at Arsenal and in six months, it will be even better, you’ll see.
“My life has changed being at Arsenal, I can feel the responsibility. And I like it, I love when people expect many things from me.”
Arsenal fans can’t forget one thing about Calafiori
Calafiori has been brilliant so far and Arsenal fans love him.
The Italian has been fearless on the ball, is commanding in duels and isn’t fazed by anything. He has performed incredibly well, so much so that commentators have been comparing Calafiori to Paolo Maldini.
That is probably a bit too much as Calafiori is still only 22 years old – he’s even younger than Bukayo Saka.
That is something Arsenal fans should not forget. They should be thrilled about the fact that he is already so good, but defenders of his age are usually not immune to errors.
We’re sure they will, but Arsenal supporters should have Calafiori’s back if he makes a mistake or two in the coming months.
