Arsenal recorded yet another dominant victory as they thrashed Burnley 5-0 away from home in an outstanding display.
Martin Odegaard continued his excellent recent form as he opened the scoring within five minutes with a fierce finish from outside the box.
Arsenal pushed forward and eventually found the second as Bukayo Saka converted a penalty after Leandro Trossard was fouled in the box.
Saka then scored again at the start of the second half, with a thumping finish after brilliant work from Odegaard.
Arsenal cruised to victory after that, with Trossard then getting on the scoresheet himself before Kai Havertz did well to beat the Burnley defence and grab a goal for himself.
After beating West Ham 6-0 last week, this was yet another performance which keeps Arsenal two points behind Liverpool at the top of the league, but now have a superior goal difference.
Arsenal player ratings vs Burnley

David Raya – 7
The goalkeeper had very little to do aside from one confident save in the first half. His passing was excellent again.
Ben White – 8
Another fine display at right back. White was rarely challenged defensively, and was very tidy on the ball going forward.
William Saliba – 7
Had one poor moment in the first half as he held off David Datro Fofana, who then beat him for pace. Solid on the ball beyond that.
Gabriel Magalhaes – 8
Gabriel was strong in duels and played some nice passes, in a performance where he was hardly threatened.
Jakub Kiwior – 8
There were calls for Jakub Kiwior to be dropped ahead of the game, but with Takehiro Tomiyasu still unavailable, Kiwior did an excellent job on the left side, on what was arguably his best display from the start this season.
Declan Rice – 9
Another fine display from Rice, who’s long pass set up Gabriel Martinelli to assist Odegaard’s opening goal. Dominant in the middle yet again.
Martin Odegaard – 9
Arsenal’s best performer on the day again, as he continued his excellent creative form. Superb finish for the first goal, and a wonderful assist for Bukayo Saka’s second strike. Silky on the ball throughout and ran the show.
Kai Havertz – 8
One of Havertz’s best performances since his £65m move to Arsenal. His movement upfront caused nightmares for the Burnley defence, and whilst his passes did not always come off, he created space for his other teammates.
Showed great endeavour to create the chance for his goal, which he finished well.
Bukayo Saka – 9
The best player on the pitch alongside Odegaard. Took his penalty well as he finished beyond James Trafford into the bottom corner, then scored with his right foot as he slammed home from Odegaard’s pass.
Leandro Trossard – 8
Had some nice link-up moments but did miss a few chances before he struck well for his goal. In excellent form upfront right now.
Gabriel Martinelli – 7
Assisted Odegaard’s opener with an outstanding pass. Threatened down the left side well, and could have had another assist with a genius bit of play when on the ground in the second half. Martinelli recently admitted that he feels back to his best, and he looked sharp despite not scoring, but will still hope to improve.

Cedric Soares – 6
