Tottenham’s next game in the Premier League is the North London Derby against Arsenal.
Thomas Frank’s side are having a shocking season and are currently 16th in the league table. There is a chance that they could find themselves in a relegation battle soon.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are on top of the Premier League table. They have been so much better than Spurs that if they win their game in hand against Brentford, their points tally will be more than double Tottenham’s.
That is one of many reasons why the Gunners will go into the North London Derby as the favourites. Frank may have just shared another reason.
Be honest. Do you really think Tottenham boss Thomas Frank is secretly an Arsenal fan?
Thomas Frank says he is convinced that he will manage Tottenham against Arsenal
Frank’s job is under serious threat due to Tottenham’s terrible performances.
Spurs have won just seven of their first 26 games in the Premier League this season, scoring 36 goals and conceding 37.
Yes, injuries have affected them, but they have shown no real signs of improvement, and Frank’s style of play isn’t convincing the supporters either.
After their defeat at home to Newcastle United on Tuesday night, the Spurs boss was asked if he thinks he will still be in the job for the North London Derby against Arsenal.
“Yeah, I am convinced that I will be (in charge),” he said in his press conference, as relayed on HaytersTV.
That is not what many Tottenham fans want to hear, but on the flip side, Arsenal fans will definitely be delighted.
How fitting would it be for Eberechi Eze to end Thomas Frank’s reign at Tottenham?
"Who's Eze?" 🤭
Arsenal fans should want Thomas Frank to be in charge of Tottenham for the North London Derby
Frank staying on as Tottenham’s manager for the North London Derby is good news for Arsenal.
That’s not because we think the Dane is a bad manager – far from it. We think he is fantastic, and with time, he will make Spurs better.
However, there are a few reasons why Arsenal are more likely to beat Tottenham with Frank in charge.

Firstly, there will be no new manager bounce, which is something that has affected the Gunners before. Secondly, the home support will not be great should their boss remain the same.
If Arsenal start strong and score the first goal, Spurs fans will turn on their side, which should make it easier for Mikel Arteta’s men to win the game.
It’s still unclear what Tottenham will do with Frank, but we hope he stays in the job at least until the North London Derby.
